The Naked And Famous are an indie rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. The band was founded in 2008 when their first two EPs were released, "This Machine" in May and "No Light" in September. Their debut music album "Passive Me, Aggressive You" was released in September 2010 and the lead single "Young Blood" was a hit. The second single "Punching In A Dream" was even more well received by fans and music critics. The Naked And Famous have won numerous APRA Silver Scroll Awards in 2010 and three New Zealand Music Awards in 2011. The Naked And Famous members are Aaron Short (electronics and producer), Alisa Xayalith (vocals and keys), David Beadle (bass), Jesse Wood (drums) and Thom Powers (vocals, producer and guitar).
