Sandra Bullock had confronted husband Jesse James over fears he was cheating on her - but he admits: "I lied my way out of it."
Love-rat Jesse, 41, admits that his superstar wife confronted him over suspicions that he was betraying her behind her back. But he cowardly convinced her that he was the loyal husband he portrayed himself as in public - and the suspicions were all her own jealous fears. "She's had her suspicions in the past - but I lied," James admitted when asked about his confession. "I lied my way out of it. I lied to everyone about everything, even to myself." James, giving his first interview about his cheating scandal, also recalled confronting his wife after hearing the media was planning stories on his affairs. "I told her basically everything," he said. "Y'know, that I had affairs outside of our marriage." Amazingly, although James says he knows 100 per cent that the marriage is over, Bullock was still supportive enough that she told him she was "proud" of him when he decided to check into rehab to get help.
