Deryck was mocking his ex and her husband-to-be.
Whibley is dressed up as
Avril, while his lady channels the
Nickelback frontman, and it looks like
Chad didn't find it flattering nor funny.
"Hey Deryck loved the costumes! we were going to dress up as you guys this year but all the parties had celebrity themes haha! -CK", he

Many have tweeted/commented that
Kroeger doesn't have a sense of humor and that he was too aggressive in regards to the photo of
Deryck's Halloween costume. But I agree with him. The photo is not funny and is not flattering. It's more of a mockery. And his tweet was the perfect reply to it.
Lavigne hasn't commented of her ex's decision to dress up as her for Halloween.
Avril and
Deryck divorced in 2009. She and
Chad got
engaged on August 8, 2012 after dating for 6 months.
