After being photographed getting a little too close to former 'Idol' contestant Brittany Kerr, Aldean issues public apology.
Jason Aldean was photographed getting "hot and heavy" with former 'American Idol' season 11 contestant
Brittany Kerr at The Den on Sunset Strip on Wednesday night,
TMZ reports.
The country superstar seems to have gotten a little to close to
Kerr. According to the report they were "hugging, touching each other and, at one point, it appears Aldean goes in for a kiss."
Jason left the bar without
Britanny, but the reports of his indiscretion, as well as photos, are making their rounds around the Internet.
Aldean issued a public apology, explaining his alcohol-induced unfaithful behavior, via
Facebook:
"Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites", he wrote.
"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support", he concluded.
The "
My Kinda Party" hitmaker is married to
Jessica Ussery, since 2001, and together they have two children.
