called NBC's decision to air '
The Voice' on the same say 'mean-spirited' and wished that 'it backfires on them'.

Blake Shelton addressed
Cowell's comments and he had some wise words for him.
"Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off. I mean, I wish, Don't you all wish you had time to sit around and b*tch and moan like that guy? Every time I turn around he's mouthing about our show. It's like 'Do your own show!' We'll just do ours and we won't mouth about yours",
Blake said.
The country superstar is also far more relaxed than
Cowell about the shows airing at the same time : "There's room for all these shows".
