MTV Announces Final Season Of 'Jersey Shore'

MTV cancels 'Jersey Shore'. Season 6 and final will air in October.

Sad news for fans of MTV's hit reality TV show "Jersey Shore".

The network announced that season 6, airing in October, of the show will also be the last.

The current "Jersey Shore" cast: Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino,  Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese.
Former cast member: Angelina Pivarnick.
