The 'Twilight' stars and former lovers will not have an encounter at the awards ceremony.

Despite rumors that they were scheduled to present an award together or walk the red carpet together, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will not be doing any of that at the upcoming 2012 MTV Video Music Award.

In fact, they will not meet at all.

According to latest reports, Kristen will be at Toronto International Film Festival to promote her latest movie "On The Road" and Robert has not confirmed his appearance at the VMAs either.

Even if he decides to attend the awards ceremony in LA, there's no chance of running into Stewart.
