Excited to announce the launch of my optical line today! Victoria x", she wrote on Facebook. Victoria revealed to
WWD that the reason behind her decision to launch her own optical line is that she does need to wear glasses, but was unable to find the perfect frames. So she designed them.
"I do need to wear glasses - [but] I haven't found glasses that suit me or particularly like", she revealed. "I've always been quite self-conscious [about this], so that's why I've decided to do myself".
So she did.
Beckham partnered with Cutler & Gross and designed a six-piece optical collection scheduled to make its debut at Silmo Paris on October 4. Meantime, check out one of the frames from the Victoria Beckham optical line.
