Green Day’s leader Billie-Joe Armstrong has recently revealed that the band is already working on a new album.
Even though their last album “21st Century Breakdown” was released not even a year ago –May 2009- Amstrong said that he and band mates started working on some new material during their European tour back in October 2009.
"We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam," Armstrong alleged "We wanted to get [the new songs] down in some early form."
He also claimed that they wanted to take much less time in producing this record than they did with former “21 th Century Breakdown,” which came out five years after much acclaimed “American Idiot.”
It looks like the rock band has so many projects on their plate: not only they are preparing a new album, they will inspire a Broadway musical and also they will launch their own Rock Band game at the end of this year.
