Mercy' hitmaker is ready to take the relationship to the next level: engagement.
Kanye is allegedly eager to propose to
Kim as soon as her divorce from
Kris Humphries is finalized. He even saw a jeweler and asked him to make a unique engagement ring for the brunette beauty.

West's late mom's jewelry collection.
"Kanye picked out some of Donda's most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring", a source told
Radar Online.
However, the rapper's intentions are not welcomed by his friends who disagree with his supposed decision of presenting
Kim with the special engagement ring.
"His friends think it's a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring. Because it's a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever break up."
"They've also reminded him that Kim is not somebody who works hard for her money. She makes millions doing reality shows and selling her image, and Donda's jewelry shouldn't be part of that image", sources added.

Kardashian's divorce is over. He's been in love with her for sooooo long, he probably can't wait to marry her. As for using jewelry from his late mom's collection for the engagement ring, it's his choice to do so.
