Justin Bieber's
Proactiv ads have been short-lived in the UK. The ads for the famous acne treatment have been banned for a very simple reason: they were misleading.
Katy's testimonials, as well as
Justin's, were based on the American formulation of Proactiv, different than the UK version. Obviously, that was misleading for the British market, no matter how well the American version of the product had worked for the celebrities.
Sorry UK fans, but you won't bee seeing
Katy Perry and
Justin Bieber's
Proactiv commercials any more.
