An "impeccable source" told Gossip Cop that the reason why Katie filed for divorce was Suri's "upbringing" and "education".

According to the report, Holmes wants her daughter to "have a normal education, to go to a normal school with other kids, make friends". She doesn't want the 6-years-old to be home schooled by Scientologists.

"Scientology was the reason", the insider told, adding that other speculated reasons, like the distance for example, are wrong.

According to Tom's rep, the actor is "deeply saddened" by the divorce news and did not see it coming. As for Katie, she is "doing OK" following the split.
