Radio host tells Bieber he sounds like Justin Timberlake, asks 'what if' Harry Styles hooked up with his mom.
Justin Bieber did an interview with Mojo for the radio show "Mojo In The Morning" and it not go well,

The host tought he was complimenting the "Boyfriend" singer by telling him he sounds like
Justin Timberlake, but
Bieber completely disagreed.
"I hope you take this as a compliment. When I first got played the song by your record people, and this was months and months before it came out, they said 'Take a listen to this and tell me if you can tell me who this is.' I thought it was Justin Timberlake", Mojo said about "
Boyfriend".

Justin did not take that as a compliment.
"Man, that’s crazy because our voices sound nothing alike," he said. "I mean, I'm not trying to sound like anyone. Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. ... I think if you were to say 'I heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things in your sound,' I would take that as a compliment", Bieber replied.

Justin is right on this one. His voice sounds nothing like
Timberlake's voice. The sound, that's a different story. Like he said there is "some Justin Timberlake-esque" sound in his music. Plus, he's trying to do his own thing and he's probably tired of people comparing him to the "
Sexy Back" hitmaker.
Moving on, the conversation got more awkward after Mojo asked
Bieber is he's afraid that
One Direction's
Harry Styles will hook up with his mom,
Pattie Mallette.
As a reply, the "
Baby" hitmaker told the host: "I don't think you should worry about me [and my mom with Harry Styles] -- Worry about your mom, bro."
And here comes the bomb. The host told
Justin that his mother had passed away at which point the Canadian superstar ended the interview.

Bieber's defense, he was asked an uncomfortable question about his mom and he reacted like a lot of people would have probably did in that situation. He had no idea that Mojo's mom had passed away. What he could and should have done was apologize and then end the interview. But he was probably annoyed and somewhat embarrassed after that.
