Katy's MMVA performance is inspired by Crazy Town's "Butterfly" and 'Cocoon'!
Katy Perry will be the first artist to perform later today at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards.
Wearing a black lace shirt, capri pants and ballet flats, the "
Wide Awake" singer transformed into a beautiful butterfly during her rehearsals for the show, yesterday June 16, in Toronto.
The purple-haired singer revealed that the inspiration for her performance came from
Crazy Town's hit single "
Butterfly" and the '80s classic movie "
Cocoon".
