While numerous actresses would love to play the role of
Anastasia Steele in the big screen adaptation of the best-seller '
Fifty Shades Of Grey',
Selena Gomez is an exception from that rule.
The '
Hit The Lights' singer told
MTV that the role would be too racy for her to take on.
"I know I'm taking risks, but I don't think I could do that. That would be a little too much for me", Selena revealed.
However, she was all up for doing a skit for
Funny or Die: "
Fifty Shades Of Blue".
"When they told me about the skit, I didn't know what ['Fifty Shades of Grey'] was about, so I started to read and was like, oh this is spicy, I thought it was good, it was intriguing. The skit was really funny", Gomez told press.
So, if she's not interested, who does she think should play the part?
"Someone older", the 19-years-old said.
