Jennifer Love Hewitt is mourning the loss of her mother,
Patricia, 67 years-old, who passed away from cancer yesterday (June 12, 2012).
The actress' mom, who was a speech-language pathologist, always supported her career and was even excited for Jennifer's '
The Client' list role.
"My mom's like 'I'm so proud. You're pole dancing and you're going to play a prostitute. Awesome!' It's like 'Yeah, what you've always dreamed about, mama!' But you know, it's a great part", Jennifer told the press a while back.
The actress' rep told
US Weekly:
"[Patricia] was an angel to all who knew her and they are grateful she is now in a better place. They ask for privacy at this difficult time".
