"My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody", Kim explains.
Kim Kardashian is in hot waters again, this time for saying that she finds Indian food disgusting.
In an episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", Kim expressed her dislike of Indian food and called it "so disgusting".
Her comment was followed by a lot of backslash and accusations that she has offended the Indian people and their culture.
To clear the air, Kim wrote a
blog post and explained:
"In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste. There are a lot of foods I don’t like… I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine."
Honestly, I don't think Kim was trying to insult anyone, she was just expressing her food preferences. However, she is aware that people keep an eye on her and comment her every word so maybe she could have used another word to describe Indian food instead of "disgusting".
