Last week we heard that
Fergie,
Britney Spears,
Janet Jackson and
Leann Rimes are the possible candidates for
replacing former judges
Paula Abdul and
Nicole Scherzinger.
Today, a new name has been added to the list of rumored X Factor judges:
Avril Lavigne.
Avril performed "Complicated" alongside finalist
Chris Rene on the first season of the show and latest reports reveal that she'd like a more permanent spot on the show.
According to
TMZ , Lavigne's team has contacted the people at The X Factor to let them know she's ready to take over one judge's spot on the show.
