Thursday, February 9th 2012, was a glorious day for music history and especially for
Paul McCartney.
The music legend got his own star on the famous
Hollywood Walk of Fame. At age 69, McCartney finally received this honor, him being the last of
The Beatles to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Paul McCartney was nominated for this back in 1993, but due to scheduling problems the ceremony could not take place until February 2012.
The Beatles member received this honor with very much excitement and obvious joy.
Joining Paul McCartney as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame were his lovey wife
Nancy Shevell,
Neil Young and wife
Peggy Young,
Elvis Costello and an army of loyal fans.
