Russell Brand are in the middle of their divorce and a new interesting aspect just came up.
The couple never signed a prenup. Which means each is entitled to half of what they have earned during the time they were married.
According to
Forbes magazine, Katy made $44 million during their marriage and Russell is entitled to 50% of that!
However, the funny man is a gentleman and he
refused to take a single penny from his ex-wives earrings.
"This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yddish for good person). He doesn't want Katy's money. He's happy to walk away with the money he's earned", a source told
