Using his star power to do good,
Justin Bieber appears in a new video campaign against texting and driving.
Bieber, who drives a Lamborghini and a Range Rover, send a message to all the drivers: Do not text while you're driving! Keep you eyes, on the road!
"I get it, it's tempting to text and drive. But maybe it's time to take responsibility for your actions", the singer
says in the latest commercial for
PhoneGuard's free app that prevents drivers from texting while driving,
Drive Safe.
The star made it clear that he is not against texting in general, just against doing it while you're behind the wheel.
"This campaign isn't anti-texting. It's about texting responsibly.", he told
The Huffignton Post.
The campaign, despite it's positive message, has created controversy due to the fact that Justin is not only it's spokesmodel, but also owns 16% of the company who owns PhoneGuard.
