The W.E director and the Mildred Pierce star took home two of the most coveted awards.

The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on 15 January, 2012.

Madonna showed up at the event joined by the star of her movie W.E and she did not left empty handed. The superstar, who dazzled in Reem Acra, took home the award for Best Original Song for a motion picture for the track "Masterpiece".

Kate Winslet looked effortlessly elegant in a black an white Jenny Packham gown as she was awarded the Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie for her role as Mildred Pierce in the same name HBO series. .
