Janet Jackson has received one very unflattering mention from the organization.
Miss Jackson was named Grinch of the Year for 2011.
The unflattering title came after Janet has launched her own collection with fur label Blackglama.
"
When Janet Jackson had her infamous 'wardrobe malfunction' during the Super Bowl during Super Bowl XXXVIII, at least what popped into view of 170 million onlookers belonged to her, unlike the animal skins she drapes herself in, which are as dead as her fashion taste and her career", the organization stated.
Looks like they're really going after her for her choice of wearing real fur. However, there's no point in calling her career 'dead'.
Janet is not the only celebrity who's been slammed by PETA this year.
Kim Kardashian has also been 'gifted' with a
billboard with the following tagline "
Kim: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?".
