The couple blasts separation rumor and Jada's presumable affair with Marc Anthony.
Hollywood was shocked by the news that
Will and
Jada Pinket Smith have separated.
According to InTouch magazine, the couple separated after a 14 years marriage. Not only that, but there were reports that the two will divorce and that Jada got really close with
Marc Anthony! The two are co-staring in
Hawthorne and the media immediately made them a couple.
All these rumors came out of nowhere and Will and Jada were in no hurry to blast them.
When the actress's rep was asked if the rumors are true, she replied to PEOPLE:
"
All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for Will and Jada, I'm not commenting on their personal life."
That sure didn't stop the separation rumors.
Next in line to clear the air was Will's son from a previous marriage,
Trey Smith who tweeted the following message:
"
Did #WillandJada split? NO they did NOT split! False information...it's not true"
Still, the couple was not making any statement regarding their relationship status so the rumor of a separation was very much alive. Until yesterday when, finally, they decided to deny the news:
"
Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
So glad this didn't turned out to be another Hollywood divorce.
