It looks like Rihanna has to face some rumors that involve his current boyfriend L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp in to a very ugly situation.
The news is that back in 2002 a woman filed a police report claiming that Matt, who was 17 at the time, and two teammates of his former Midwest City basketball team had forced sexual conduct on her.
The awful event would have happened at the Columbus Hyatt Hotel at about 2AM on a Sunday morning, as reported by The Oklahoman. The name of the victim remains unknown. At this moment there have been no arrests or charges filed against any of the athletes.
Reality is that Kemp’s ex-girlfriend Felisha Terrel, who dated the player back in 2008, filed a restraining order against him citing verbal abuse and threats made against her. Kemp's spokesperson stated that Terrell lied in the restraining order and denied the authenticity of those allegations of abuse.
His agent Dave Stewart released a statement, saying Terrell never continued with the case because "the statements made within [her complaint] were false."
"This happened over a year ago and it's really a non-issue for him," Stewart says. "He was saddened by the whole thing, especially taking into account what [Rihanna's] been through."
