The passionate rebound romance ran its course and now they are both free
Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn are back in the market. The actors started a torrid romance in March –and we found out when some images of the couple vacationing in Cabo San Lucas leaked to the press. They reportedly moved in together in April. It’s not like the actors have made a lot of public appearances. Probably the most recent was the one at Reese Witherspoon’s wedding, when Scarlett reportedly freaked out because everybody paid attention to the couple as they made the entrance to the ceremony.
A few weeks ago, Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn traveled “solo” to Cannes for the premiere of the movie The Tree Of Life and that definitely raised a lot of questions about his relationship with the blond actress.
It didn’t take much longer for a close source to the now former couple to confirm the break-up to People.com, however no further explanations were provided.
Scarlett divorced actor Ryan Reynolds back in December. Meanwhile Penn also divorced actress Robin Wright in July 2010.
