The past few weeks have been quite an emotional roller-coaster for Cheryl Cole . She first found out that she was fired from the US version of X-Factor, and immediately had to deal with all the rumors about the causes behind her departure of the show: her accent, a bad relationship with Paula Abdul, her attitude, Simon Cowell’s lack of support…
Cole became really disappointed by FOX executives’ decision and headed to her native UK to relax and think about what her next move would be.
And now, out if the blue, the network backed off and decided to let Cole be back to the show. A source revealed to News Of The World: "This is the biggest surprise... Cheryl is back. Who could have possibly have predicted this - it appeared that Simon had dumped Cheryl for good? But behind the scenes Simon has been wooing Cheryl. And key executives at Fox all realized they had made a big mistake. They have been watching the tapes of her at the American auditions and realizing that she could be a huge star over there."
