The Irish band is preparing something outstanding for the festival
U2 will definitely be one of the most anticipated performances at the upcoming GlastonburyFestival. Bono and the rest of the guys will take their magnificent 360 Degree tourto one of the most popular Summer music festivals in the world, and they wantto do it “their way”
Bassist Adam Clayton revealed that they will be "sneaking in" someof the huge pyrotechnics from their 360 Degree world tour for the stage show:"It's very un-Glastonbury to have a big production, but we will besneaking a few things in through the back gate which will hopefully make theexperience a little more like Glastonbury on steroids.” He continued: "We're stretching the levels of what canbe done. We hope to create a mind blowing experience that reacts well with allthe other substances involved."
U2 is headlining Glastonbury's Pyramid stage on Friday June 24. The festivalwill run until June 26. Coldplay and Beyonce Knowles are some other highprofile stars included on the line up.
