Eminem, Foo Fighters And Coldplay will perform at the Chicago Festival
Every year during the past 20 years,
Chicago, the
Windy City, becomes the international epicenter of the music word. This year, some of the biggest names in the industry have been confirmed to be included on the prestigious line-up of the Festival. Check this out: E
minem, Foo Fighters and
Coldplay have been announced as the headliners of this year’s
Lollapalooza festival.
Perry Farrell, member of the band
Jane’s Addiction and organizer of the Festival, told
Rolling Stone magazine: "I wish I was 20, but unfortunately it’s my festival that is 20. I just feel so fortunate that I was able to make something so wonderful for the musicians and the audience.” He continued evaluating the Festival’s evolution throughout all these years: "It’s just outstanding where it has evolved to. In 1991, we had seven groups and we were performing on dirt fields."
Some other acts confirmed for the festival are:
Cee Lo Green, Arctic Monkeys, Deftones, Tinie Tempah, deadmau5 and
Muse. It looks like Chicago will be the place to be for music fanatics on the weekend of August 5!
