Nicole Scherzinger, the beautiful and charismatic leader of the burlesque band has broken up her two year relationship with McLaren's 2008 Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

 A statement has been released in order to make the spit official: "Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton can confirm that they have decided to go their separate ways. The two of them have decided to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends."

The high profile couple met two years ago at the MTV Europe awards celebrated in Munich, Germany back in 2007. They began dating immediately.

From that moment on, Nicole followed his boyfriend for all the Formula 1 paddocks around the world. She was there when Hamilton celebrated his World title after his last race in Brazil back in 2008.Also the famous singer and performer fitted right in with Hamilton’s family as it was normal to see her hanging out with them during the competitions.

It was in September of 2009 when British papers broke the news regarding some crisis in the relationship due to Hamilton’s lack of commitment. Right after that Hamilton’s agent hurried to deny the rumors. The reality is that now the split is official.
