Carrey confirmed breakup saying that he was grateful for their time together and wished her the best. McCarthy responded saying that she was grateful for her years with Carrey and that he will always be "a leading man in her heart. After 5 years of dating, the love story of this funny couple is ended.

#5 Sandra Bullock and Jesse James:

Not even four months after Jesse James' affairs with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and other assorted hoes became exposed; the actress' divorce from him is final. This news broke less than two weeks after Sandra nabbed the Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side. Bullock filed for divorce back on April 23, saying her marriage to James "has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." Later she caused a media stir for an entirely different reason: revealing she'd secretly adopted a son.

The split between Elin Nordigren and Tiger Woods came as little surprise, but after months of speculation, their marriage was officially over. Tiger infidelities were the cause of the divorce. The revelations that the world's most famous athlete had been cheating on her wife through multiple affairs shocked the world. The sordid sex scandal cost Woods $750 million that he has to pay to Elin, one of the higher divorce settlement ever. Of course, it cost him three major corporate sponsors — Accenture, AT&T and Gatorade — worth millions of dollars, and he lost his image as the gold standard in sports endorsements. After the scandal became public, Woods spent two months in therapy and put his career on hold. The couple is the parents of two children.
