Cher is back. Now that her upcoming movie Burlesque, co-starring Christina Aguilera, is about to hit Theaters on November 24 –can’t wait by the way!- the iconic singer is everywhere.
Last night, she visited the Late Show with David Letterman, and boy, did she talk!
One thing led to another and Cher ended up talking about guys. When asked if she had slept with Elvis Presley, she responded: "Almost, I got nervous, I didn't get there (to the date), I was that nervous. I wish I had.” And continues: "Marlon Brando too, I wished I had! We just hung out for a while, but I wished I'd had."
Letterman kept trying to get as much info as possible regarding the veracity of the different rumors about her love live: Cher laughed at the rumors of her dating Michael Bolton but admitted she hooked up with Eric Clapton once.
Not bad, considering that back in the day, she was linked also to Tom Cruise, Warren Beatty or rocker Gene Simmons.
Anyway, the singer played down her love life compared to those of her closest pals: "The truth is, everyone was more promiscuous than me, I promise you, all my girlfriends. It was the time too. I'd been married to Sonny for so long, 11 years, so when I got out I was excited. I wasn't quite with it."
