The young singer and actress has decided to take full responsability of her acts and seek treatment.
Disney star Demi Lovato has interrupted her tour as she decided to enter on a rehabilitation center. The super young actress and singer feels the need of addressing some personal issues that have taken toll on her life.
The artist has released a statement to explain the situation: "Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time. Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."
According to gossip website TMZ, the reason behind Lovato’s treatment is not drugs. A source close to the family reported to People magazine: "bullied in school. She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. ... Demi is taking control by getting help."
