The "Brown Eyed Girl" singer just announced the arrival of his fourth child on his website
Gloria! Here’s beautiful news: Van Morrison, the Belfast-born veteran singer welcomed his fourth child Monday 28. The happy announcement was revealed on Morrison’s website and describes the newborn creature, named George Ivan Morrison III, as "Little Van"and “the spitting image of his daddy." The mother of the baby, Van’s partner and manager Gigi Lee is extremely happy too.
Morrison has other three children, singer-songwriter Shana Morrison, from his first marriage to Janet Minto and other two children with former girlfriend, former Miss Ireland Michelle Rocca.
Morrison was born in 1945 in Belffast. His music career kicked off on the mid sixties as lead singer for the band “Them” and whose most popular song was “Gloria”.
After that, Morrison –also known by his fans as “Van the Man”- went solo and in 1967 released one of the most remembered songs of all time “Brown Eyed Girl”. He has received six Grammy awards and included on both both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
