Maroon 5 have released their third studio album, Hands All Over.

The new disc, which the band recorded in Switzerland with producer Mutt Lange in 2009, features the lead single "Misery," which hit number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, frontman Adam Levine said that working with Lange was both a challenge and a pleasure.
"He worked me harder than anyone ever has," Levine says. "I would come in with a finished song, and he'd say, 'That's a good start. Now strip it down to the drums and start over.' The coolest thing about him is that not only has he been a huge, legendary producer, but he also is a legit, serious writer."
Levine adds: "Our first record was a reflection of my love for Stevie Wonder. With the second I kept going back and forth between Prince and the Police. But there was no one on my mind for this album. It's just great pop."
Hands All Over's second single, "Give A Little More," was released in August.
