The Welsh artist comes back to the spotlight with a hot new album and a new movie. Take that Amy!

She has been keeping a low-profile during the past months, however it looks like Welsh artist Duffy is now ready to come back stronger than ever.
She is one of the greatest British exports that UK has brought to the world and only needed one album to astonish the audience with her soul-voice and charisma.
Now Duffy is coming back for more. She is about to release her sophomore album called Endessly, which includes high-profile collaborations such as legendary Albert Hammond –who back in the seventies, wrote hits like It Never Rains in Southern California or Down By The River- and hip-hop band The Roots.
As if this wasn’t enough for the blond artist, she has also been working on her acting debut. The Welsh singer will hit the big screen with the film Patagonia, defined by the director Marc Evans as “a very beautiful, visually stunning film, with beautiful countryside in Wales and Patagonia. I think of it as the perfect escape movie for a wet Sunday afternoon."
Evans also said that the role of Sissy –“a sort of Welsh Marilyn character”- was perfect for Duffy.
Patagonia will hit Theaters on March 2011.
