I think Sami Yusuf is taking love of prophet globally by expressing his love in english which 70% of the world understand.
We should promote him to make his work reach to every citizen of the world so that evevry one knows the sweet smell of Islam And Prophets love.

We all know very well that it is not permissible to use certain musical instruments, if only sami yusuf stops doing that, his songs would be more pure. Some people say that it is alright to use musical instruments along with islmic worses....but, come on! what's the diffeence?? if you drink alcohol in the name of Allah, will it become permissible then?? (May Allah protect us!) I really wish he would stop using unlawful music.

Salam alakum sisters and brothers...Sami Yusuf has a great voice and great lyrics but ..but islam does not allow instruments,this should understand every muslim who knows what is islam...its true they may sound very beautiful but it is haram ...
