aight, This is a good song. Not their best, but i wasn't looking for their best, I was looking for a good ass kicking song and they delivered. That solo at the end is sweet; I love the way it is sung. For all the pple who say that the first half of the song isn't any good, well you are all just too self-important to simply take the song as it comes. there will never be another "Master of Puppets", "Kill 'Em All", "Ride the Lightning" or ". . . And Justice for All." Stop living in the past and come on into the here and now; it's not that bad of a place to be. Pple fall in and out of love with different bands all the time. If you don't like the new stuff, that's fine, but don't go posting shit about how they suck now, just cause your personal taste hasn;t been satisfied. You all sound like a bunch of whiny babies, and make me embarrassed to call myself a metal head. I didn't like St. Anger all that much, but hey they make music cause they had the opportunity to make it and they can make whatever they please. If I were making music I sure as hell wouldn't give a damn about what any of you thought as long as I was happy with it. BTW "Master . . ." is still the greatest Metal album ever, "Kill 'Em All" changed Metal forever, "Ride the Lightning" and "Justice" are still among the top 10 Metal Albums of all Time and "One" is still one of the most amazing pieces of music of any genre. And last I checked Metallica changed the face of Metal from a bunch of long haired girly boys who whined about bitches and hos while playing dress up to a genre with a social conscience and used complicated musical compositions rivaling any classical pieces from way back when dudes whore wigs and stockings. In my book that makes them the greatest band of all time.

AWESOME new song. the haters that cant appreciate this musical genious need to grow up. Metallica realized what they did with St. Anger, and they improved and erased that mistake. its obvious in this new song(as well as My Apocalypse). so Ichi...not worth the wait? i think so. it was worth the wait. ichi you're nuts. you must have gotten sucked into all the real junk nowadays. you're blinded by it. how can you even relate to all the garbage. you think it's so good cause it's trendy. i think you need to take another listen to "death magnetic". f++k st. anger. a heavy metal band that sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and can sell out stadiums and arenas across the earth is ok by me. not to mention influencing millions across the hemispheres to follow there dreams. i can't wait to see them in philly in january. sold out in about a half an hour. love and respect to all the metallica fans that will be at the show and will stick with them til the end. no matter what.
