though i am not an Indian i still love the song. i got goose bumps every time when i use to heard this song. i am a bangladeshi girl phirvi jab bhi main iss gaana ko suntihu mujhe lagta hai..kash main hindustani hoti to saar ucha karke yeh geet gaa sakti. phirvi main gaatihu aur jitni baar gaatihu i use to cry with the emotion of this song. Lata tai ki awaz me yeh geet aur bhi khubsuraat lagti hai. to all Indians i want to say Jai Hind.
