Review added by gg7nn7ss7ss The melodies are back in full-blown systematic way. Why fix something that isn't broken? The lyrics have been updated to represent what many American women would consider the highest of moral issues: belief in onesself, racism, hypocrisy, and above all this the dream we "normal" humans have of escaping all the wrongs and evils this world has to offer by using a corrected optimistic lens. Since inspiration is the name of the game, she has to cover the issues we hold close to our hearts and tries to, with music, help us overcome these dilemmas we face. To be perfectly honest, it wasn't captivating. Maybe because she's missing some real issues like extreme poverty that can be averted or it could be that these answers are based on our culture and not real solutions to solve problems she's shown us but popular gimmicks. And it's ironic how in the song "I Always Knew" she's fighting this being stepped on by going with the popular ideal (in essence stepping on her originality and her real self). There are some good songs, so having the album helps me in seeing which is good and which is bad, but I would suggest just listening to the 30 sec. previews from iTunes and get the lyrics if those are important.
