WOW... Way to take the song too seriously, guys. These types of songs are not meant to be actual advice on relationships. It is a depiction of a lifestyle which (for good reasons) most of us do not live. It is meant to be fun and possibly cathartic poetry about a fictional character and her fictional relationship, not a real person. So get off your high horse and enjoy a good tune why don't ya?

Domestic violence is ugly, cowardly, and has no place in a truly civilized society. The type of music that is played today, and the lyrics and videos, reflect a baseness, a lack of respect for human beings. A person needs only imagination to express themselves in a manner that doesn't offend and shocke the hell out of decent people.

Obviously those who comment that this song rocks have never lived in an abusive situation. It's not fun. It's terrifying and cowardly.

Our world could change over night if people of all ages would shift their focus from themselves and begin to care about others. Life is not just about "pleasing and entertaining me". It's about contributing positively to humanity.

The fact that people actually "profit" from this garbage just makes me ill.

If this is an example of what the next generation will bring--God help us!!!

i listened to this song with absolute shock, waiting and hoping that the moral of the story would be that a kiss with a fist is not better than none. the artist says it's a metaphor and not about domestic violence but no one listening to it is going to know that. this song appears to be glamorizing domestic violence. i'm very saddened the artist didn't think of the consequences this song could have on people.

i think anyone taking this too serious is dumb...yes abusive relationships are awful but there is always a time in even a good realationship when you feel this way...and you just want to smash a plate over someones head...I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
