This song completely fits my mother. She has done so much for so many people who don't even take the time to say thank you to her. I just hope she realizes that I really do love her and appreciate everything she's done for me. She's the best mother I could ever wish for and this song makes me think of her so much.

I dedicated this song to a girl who is my best friend.
She was a teenage mom and has three kids at 24 9 6 5 and her ex walked out on them and she put herself thro high school and college and now is the best damn nurse and the most wonderful mother her kids are dreams they have wonderful morals and amazing kids and she did it on her own.
On top of it she has a heart as a saint.
She is the strongest woman i ever saw.
And that is a perfect song for her.

Thank you for this wonderful song. I heard it for the first time today when everything seemed hopeless. I'm a recently single mother of two because my husband left me and hearing the strength and hope in this song made me stop and cry but gave me the hope to be able to get through this.

I happen to see the mtv of this song. I actually don't know this until yesterday. I tried to scribble the lines so I can search for the whole lyrics online and true enough I found it! This song reminds me so much of my mother who raised all three children on her own after my father died when i finished fourth grade. She is definitely a STRONG woman and I want to let everyone know that I am very happy and proud to have her as my mother.

I know peoplea lot of women say this song is about them. I understand I relate to this song a lot. I had my son at 17 and his daddy(my fiance) died when he was 11 months and 4 days old. Then at 20 I got pregnate with my daughter her dad left me the day we found out and got someone else pregnate 3 months later and still is with her. Then I got engaged and got pregnate well I misscarried a month before I got married and now im going through a divorce after he hit me and treated me and my kids like crap. But still I'm trying to make it in this world.

This is a beautiful song...im not quite there yet with the whole single mom thing. Im seven months pregnant and going to be a single mom the father and i were never together and we stopped talking after i found out. The song made me cry because i know how hard this is going to be but i know i can make it. i have to make it for my lil one, who i am so excited to meet.
