Biography:

Mumford And Sons, stylized as Mumford & Sons, are a British folk rock band consisting of Marcus Mumford (vocalist, guitar, mandolin and drums), Ben Lovett (vocalist, keyboards, accordion and drums), Ted Dwane (vocalist, string bass, guitar and drums) and Country Winston Marshall (vocals, dobro, banjo and guitar). Mumford And Sons formed back in December 2007 in London England and up to this day it still consists of all four original members. Marcus Mumford, as fans can tell from the band's name, is the most well-known member of the band. However, according to another band member, Mumford And Sons acts like a "family business" revealing the great relationship between members. Mumford & Sons made their first appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2008. In November same year, the band released the debut EP "Love Your Ground". From there on Mumford And Sons musical career took off with the boys releasing a series of hit albums such as "Sigh No More" and "Babel". Their popularity gained them appearances on "Late Show With David Letterman", "The Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Later...with Jools Holland". They have won numerous award including 2010 ARIA Wards Most Popular International Artist, 2011 Billboard Music Awards Top Rock Album, Top Alternative Album and Top Alternative Artist, 2011 BRIT Awards British Album of the Year and numerous nominations including six Grammy nominations in 2011 and 2011. Mumford And Sons' most popular song to date is "Little Lion Man" featured on their "Sigh No More" album. The single received numerous praises from radio hosts and music critics all over the world.
