Biography:

Lauren Christy is an English singer-songwriter and music producer. She was born in London, England and attended to the Bush Davies Ballet School as a child, before she decided to become a musical artist. Christy started her music career joining Pink Ash, which consisted of six male members and herself. Her stage name was Susie Reptile. She eventually achieved both a publishing deal with EMI and a major label record contract with Polygram Records. In 1993, she released her self-titled debut album, including the singles "You Read Me Wrong" and "Steep," which targeted the adult contemporary market. Her second album, Breed, released on July 22, 1997, featured a different style, being more of a pop rock album. Since the late 1990s, Christy has focused on songwriting and music producing. She has written or co-written songs for Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Hilary Duff, Ronan Keating, Korn, Avril Lavigne, Lillix, Ricky Martin, Ashley Parker Angel, Mcfly, Jason Mraz, Liz Phair, Britney Spears, Skye Sweetnam, Shakira and Miranda Cosgrove
