J. Cole, real name Jermaine Lamar Cole, born January 28, 1985, in Frankfurt Germany, is an American rapper,singer and record producer. J. Cole is the first rap artist signed by Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. J. Cole released his debut studio album "Cole World: The Sideline Story" in 2011. The album went straight to number 1 in US Billboard 200 chart. J. Cole was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
