The songtress shows off her latest wrist ink.
New year, new ink for the R&B singer, Brandy. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant recently got a new tattoo of Hindu Deity Ganesha. Brandy braved the pain of getting a wrist tattoo, as Ganesha symbolizes success, prosperity, wisdom and remover or all obstacles.
Brandy credited her best friend, Monica, for getting the new ink: "You know you were the one that got me into tat's and Louis Vuitton." The singer already had several tattoos covering her fabulous body, including a large lotus flower on her lower back, an ankle tattoo, two butterflies, one on the back of each shoulder, making the Elephant-headed deity tattoo her number 6.
It's funny that she decided to get another tattoo after giving a statement in 2009 about how she fears her tattoos will look awful when she gets older: "They're going to be wrinkled, they're going to look ugly." Guess it took her one year to get over the fear of getting another tattoo.
