Carly Rae Jepsen, born November 21st, 1985, is a Canadian singer and songwriter, who first earned fame after placing third in the fifth season of Canadian Idol. After her departure from Canadian Idol, Carly released her debut studio album "Tug Of War" in 2008. After a three years pause, Carly Rae Jepsen released her biggest hit single to date "Call Me Maybe" and her second album "Curiosity". Jepsen got the attention of Justin Biber who signed her to Schoolboy Records, the label of Justin's manager Scooter Braun. "Call Me Maybe" is the first single by a Canadian artist to top iTunes since Bieber's hit song "Baby". Following her immense musical success, Jepsen embarked on a world tour alongside Hanson. She is often referred to as Justin Bieber's protegee. Carly Rae Jepsen fans will be happy to know that in October 2012, the singer will make a guest appearance in the hit TV show "90210" and perform a song from her upcoming third album.
