1000 Generations is a Christian-rock band. The leaders are Steven and Amanda Potaczek, who have been married for more than twenty years. Their debut album came out on 2003 and Worship Leader magazine called it “the best new worship album of the year,” Their social justice anthem “How Big Small Can Be” was named the GMA Academy’s “Song of the Year,” and the worship-driven rock gem “Fascinated” cracked the Top 3 of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest. The band is currently touring extensively and performing at colleges, churches, and various events around the country.
